Certified organic Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is grown at our farm on hardwood sawdust. We then harvest and dry the mushrooms at a low heat to maintain the integrity of the mushrooms.
Lion's Mane mushrooms have a very "mushroom" flavor and a meaty texture. If left whole they are best cooked for at least 1 hour in soups and sauces. They can also be reconstituted then sliced thin and sauteed
Dried mushrooms can be kept for at least 1 year. Store in a dry place out of sunlight.
